The British Council, in collaboration with the UK Government’s GREAT Britain campaign, has introduced the GREAT Scholarships 2026-27 to encourage Indian students who are interested in pursuing postgraduate studies at UK Universities. This scholarship has been offered to encourage bright Indian candidates to pursue world-class education in prestigious UK Universities. There are 12 scholarship offers for the academic year of 2026-27 in diverse fields such as finance, marketing, business, psychology, science, design, humanities, arts, music, and dance. Each scholarship award can be availed with a minimum amount of £10,000 (approx. ₹10-12 lakhs) to be used for funding one-year taught PG courses in top UK universities. Some of the top UK universities involved in this prestigious scholarship program include University of Bristol, University of Reading, University of Surrey, Queen's University Belfast, and several more.
