COURSE CURRICULUM

The Master of Science in Anatomy at Wright State University requires a minimum of 30 graduate credit hours and is designed to provide advanced training in human anatomical sciences through a structured set of core courses and one of three program pathways: course option, teacher education option, or thesis option. The thesis option emphasizes original research and requires students to complete a significant research project, including the collection and analysis of data, culminating in the written submission and oral defense of a master’s thesis, along with supporting seminars and limited electives. Across all options, the program ensures strong grounding in advanced anatomical disciplines through courses such as ANT 7110 Human Gross Anatomy, ANT 7210 Human Microanatomy, ANT 7310 Human Neurobiology, and seminar series that promote academic discussion and critical analysis.
