COURSE CURRICULUM

The Bachelor of Science in Business (BSB) in International Business is a 120-credit-hour program designed to prepare students for careers in global business, international trade, multinational corporations, and cross-cultural management. The program combines a strong foundation in business disciplines with specialized international business knowledge, foreign language proficiency, and cultural awareness. Students develop expertise in economics, finance, marketing, management, logistics, and supply chain management while learning how businesses operate across international borders. Core business courses cover accounting, financial management, business statistics, marketing, organizational behavior, information systems, business ethics, strategy, and global money markets. Specialized international business coursework includes International Economics, International Financial Management, International Trade Management, International Management, International Marketing, and Global Logistics and Supply Chain Management. A distinctive feature of the program is the required international experience, which students complete through either an international business practicum or study-abroad opportunity, providing practical exposure to global business environments. Students must also complete nine credit hours in a foreign language, including advanced-level coursework, to strengthen international communication skills and cultural understanding. Additional cultural elective courses allow students to explore international politics, economic development, world geography, intercultural communication, regional studies, and global religions, enhancing their ability to work effectively in diverse environments.
