COURSE CURRICULUM

The Bachelor of Science (BS) in computer engineering at Wichita State University is a 124-credit-hour program designed to develop strong skills in both computer science and electrical engineering, preparing students to design and build advanced computing systems. A major milestone of the program is the senior design sequence (ECE 585 and ECE 595), where students complete a capstone project that integrates knowledge from across the curriculum into real-world engineering solutions. Students must also complete technical electives (11 credit hours), primarily from the ECE department, allowing specialization in areas such as networks, hardware systems, or advanced computing technologies.
