COURSE CURRICULUM

The Master of Arts in Information Technology Management at Webster University requires the completion of 36 credit hours, structured to provide both foundational and advanced knowledge in managing technology within organizational contexts. The program begins with the requisite course, Information Technology Management: Overview, which introduces core principles and the evolving role of IT in business. Organizational Behavior offers insight into how human dynamics influence team and project performance, while Basic Finance for Managers ensures students understand financial principles relevant to IT planning and decision-making.Technical competencies are developed through a series of focused courses. Information and Communications Systems and Networks covers the infrastructure that supports digital operations, and Project Management of Information Technology provides the tools and techniques necessary for planning and executing IT projects efficiently. Procurement and Contract Management for Information Technology addresses the strategic sourcing and vendor relationship aspects of IT operations. Systems Analysis, Design and Implementation teaches students to assess business needs and translate them into functional IT systems.
