COURSE CURRICULUM

This 18 credit hour certificate requires the following courses: SPED 5700 School-Based Prevention/Intervention: RTI and PBIS (3 hours), SPED 5414 Children and Youth with Learning and Academic Disorders (3 hours), SPED 5703 Functional Behavioral Analysis and Intervention (3 hours), SPED 5900 Concepts and Principles of Behavior Analysis (3 hours), SPED 5901 Applied Behavior Analysis I (3 hours), SPED 5902 Applied Behavior Analysis II (3 hours). Admission requirements include a master's degree in special education, psychology, or applied behavior analysis or a master's degree with a current teaching certificate. Students must maintain a GPA of 3.0 and complete coursework within 5 years.
