COURSE CURRICULUM

This program is offered by the Leigh Gerdine College of Fine Arts/Conservatory of Theatre Arts in the College of Fine Arts and is only offered at the St. Louis main campus. Program requirements include 97 required credit hours and 31 general education and elective credit hours for a total of 128 credit hours. Required courses include the Conservatory sequence (CONS 1010, 1020, 2010, 2020, 3010, 3020, 4010, 4020) for 56 hours, Acting courses (ACTG 2100, 2150, 3100, 3150, 4100, 4150) for 18 hours, History of Theatre courses (THEA 2030, 2040, 2050) for 9 hours, Topics in Theatre (THEA 3030, 3040) for 4-6 hours, Directing I (THEA 3710) for 2 hours, Audition Techniques (AUDI 1000) for 1 hour, History of American Musical Theatre (MUTH 1030) for 3 hours, additional musical theatre dance for 3 hours, and additional advanced dance for 3 hours.
