COURSE CURRICULUM

The program requires 120 credit hours, including 42 required credit hours in the major. Core courses include: GAME 1550 Introduction to Games (3 hours), GAME 2000 Game Design Fundamentals (3 hours), GAME 2050 History of Games (3 hours), GAME 2500 Game Development Tools (3 hours), GAME 3000 Game Project Management (3 hours), GAME 3050 Game Genres (3 hours), GAME 3100 Analog Game Design (3 hours), GAME 3150 Digital Game Design (3 hours), GAME 3500 Game Programming (3 hours), GAME 3550 Game Art and Animation (3 hours), GAME 3600 Game Audio and Sound Design (3 hours), GAME 4000 Game Studio (3 hours), GAME 4050 Game Industry and Business (3 hours), GAME 4620 Senior Overview/Thesis (3 hours). Students must also complete general education requirements and electives to reach the total credit hours.
