COURSE CURRICULUM

LL.M. students have the opportunity to enhance their degree by pursuing an optional Certificate in one of four specialized areas, allowing them to gain focused expertise alongside their general legal studies. Each certificate requires 9 credit hours within the chosen specialty and is completed as part of the overall 24-credit LL.M. requirement. Students can earn both the LL.M. degree and one certificate within a single academic year, making it a flexible and efficient way to build specialization and strengthen career prospects.The Certificate in Negotiation and Dispute Resolution provides a solid foundation in conflict theory while offering hands-on training in practical skills such as business negotiation, mediation, and arbitration. The Certificate in Business and Corporate Law focuses on developing well-rounded business lawyers, covering key areas like corporate finance, law and economics, publicly traded corporations, and taxation. For students interested in global legal systems, the Certificate in International Law offers specialized training in areas such as international human rights, international intellectual property, and international commercial arbitration.Additionally, the Certificate in Intellectual Property and Technology Law allows students to explore both introductory and advanced topics in intellectual property under the guidance of leading scholars, including patents, trademarks, copyrights, and emerging technologies.
