COURSE CURRICULUM

The Master of Science in Advanced Data Analytics with a Management concentration at the University of North Texas is designed with flexible and accelerated pathways to accommodate both working professionals and full-time students. The program offers five start dates throughout the year, including fall entry points in August and October, spring entry points in January and March, and a summer start in June, allowing students to begin at a time that best fits their academic and professional schedules. Core courses are delivered in accelerated 8-week sessions during the fall, spring, and summer terms, enabling students to progress efficiently through the curriculum and complete the degree in as little as 12 months when following the accelerated online format. For students seeking a more traditional academic experience, the program also offers hybrid course delivery at both the UNT Frisco campus and the main Denton campus, where core courses are taught across standard 16-week semesters in fall and spring. The degree structure includes 18 hours of core coursework focused on essential analytics foundations, along with 12 hours of specialized concentration coursework tailored to management applications. The program is designed to meet the growing industry demand for professionals who can interpret complex data, assess organizational risk, improve operational efficiency, and support strategic business growth. By combining big data analytics, statistical methods, and data visualization with applied business case studies, students develop both technical expertise and managerial insight.
