COURSE CURRICULUM

The Elementary Education Teaching Master’s program at the University of North Texas is designed to prepare highly skilled educators for careers in elementary and secondary education, with a strong emphasis on quality instruction, diversity, and classroom readiness. The curriculum focuses on developing effective teaching practices for diverse classrooms and includes courses such as curriculum development for culturally diverse learners, classroom management and discipline strategies, bilingual and ESL education fundamentals for EC–12 settings, assessment of language and content learning in bilingual and ESL contexts, and pedagogy for English as a Second Language in EC–12 classrooms.
