COURSE CURRICULUM

The Master’s in Educational Policy and Leadership at University at Albany (UAlbany) offers a structured and flexible program of study designed to build strong leadership, analytical, and research skills for careers in education systems and policy development. These courses help students understand how educational institutions function, how policies are shaped, and how data can be used to inform effective decision-making.Students then customize their studies through concentration courses, selecting three classes in a specific area of interest.The program offers three main concentrations: Educational Policy, Global and Comparative Educational Policy, and School Leadership. For example, the Educational Policy track focuses on policy design and implementation, while the Global and Comparative track explores international education systems and policy processes.
