COURSE CURRICULUM

The MS in Applied Atmospheric Science at the University at Albany is a 30-credit, non-thesis program that can be completed in just one year, combining academic coursework with practical experience through an internship and applied research project. The program is designed to equip students with expertise in weather and climate analysis while also developing skills in business, data analytics, programming, and communication.Students begin by selecting four core courses that cover key areas such as climate variability, weather forecasting, renewable energy, climate change, and advanced data analysis and visualization.
