COURSE CURRICULUM

As students progress, they study specialized nanoscale engineering topics including thermodynamics and statistical mechanics of nanoscale systems, nanomaterials mechanics, fluid and transport processes, micro- and nanomanufacturing technologies, nanoelectronics, and materials characterization. The curriculum culminates in a multi-semester capstone research sequence, where students engage in advanced independent or team-based projects that apply nanoscale engineering principles to real-world challenges. Elective courses at the upper level allow further specialization in nanoscale science or engineering areas.
