COURSE CURRICULUM

The Master of Arts in Management is structured as a 30-credit-hour graduate program that combines a shared foundation in core business and leadership principles with specialized training in a selected area of concentration. Across all three available concentrations—Global Business Management, Human Resources Analytics, and Strategic Innovation, Entrepreneurship and Growth—students complete 15 credit hours of required core coursework designed to build essential managerial, financial, and strategic competencies. These core courses include MGT 517 (Leadership and Ethics), which focuses on ethical decision-making and leadership effectiveness in organizational settings; MGT 537 (Strategic Human Resource Management), which develops understanding of workforce planning and talent strategy; AC 506 (Concepts of Managerial Financial Accounting), which provides foundational knowledge of financial decision-making and accounting systems; IBA 550 (Global Business), which explores international business environments and cross-cultural management; and GBA 525 (Business Policy), a global capstone course that integrates strategic thinking and comprehensive business analysis. After completing the core curriculum, students take 15 additional credit hours within their chosen concentration, allowing them to tailor their degree toward specific professional goals and career pathways. These concentration courses typically include a mix of advanced electives that deepen expertise in areas such as global markets and leadership, workforce analytics and organizational behavior, or innovation, entrepreneurship, and strategic growth. The structure ensures that all graduates develop a strong managerial foundation while also gaining specialized knowledge aligned with modern business demands.
