COURSE CURRICULUM

The general business major provides students with a broad foundation across accounting, finance, economics, management, and marketing, allowing them to understand how different parts of an organization work together and how business decisions are made in real-world environments. Students are required to maintain a minimum GPA of 2.0 for admission and continuation in the major. The curriculum includes core selections such as accounting options like managerial accounting or corporate financial reporting, finance courses covering financial markets and institutions, economics courses including intermediate microeconomics or macroeconomics, and management or marketing courses that explore leadership, consumer behavior, entrepreneurship, or digital marketing. Students also complete additional approved business electives to deepen or broaden their understanding of specialized topics.
