COURSE CURRICULUM

The Master of Science in Management with a concentration in Business Analytics and Supply Chain integrates comprehensive analytical training with practical knowledge of supply chain operations, preparing students to excel in data-driven decision-making and strategic management. The 30-credit program includes a 12-credit Business Analytics core consisting of MGMT 601 Business Analytics and Information Strategy, ISM 602 Programming for Data Analytics, ISM 641 Business Database Systems, and ISM 644 Business Intelligence, which collectively develop technical and analytical competencies essential for modern business environments. The Supply Chain core requires nine credits through SCM 670 Management of Supply Chains and Operations, SCM 677 Supply Chain Sourcing, and SCM 680 Supply Chain Logistics Management, providing foundational expertise in supply chain strategy, sourcing, and logistics. Students then select an advanced analytics course, choosing either SCM 662 Supply Chain Analysis or ISM 663 Advanced Data Analytics Topics, to enhance quantitative problem-solving and data interpretation skills. Additionally, six credits of elective graduate business courses allow students to tailor their learning to their specific career goals, whether in operations, logistics, or analytics. Full-time students are required to participate in an internship or co-op in their first year, offering hands-on experience and exposure to real-world business challenges. This integrated curriculum equips graduates with a combination of technical, analytical, and practical skills essential for leadership roles in supply chain management, business analytics, and operations across diverse industries.
