COURSE CURRICULUM

The Master of Science in Management with a concentration in Business Analytics – Information Systems is a 30-credit program designed to equip students with advanced skills in data analysis, information systems, and business strategy. The curriculum integrates a 12-credit Business Analytics core, including courses such as Business Analytics and Information Strategy, Programming for Data Analytics, Business Database Systems, and Business Intelligence, providing students with the technical expertise to extract, interpret, and utilize data effectively for informed decision-making. The 12-credit Information Systems core, covering Data and IS Governance, Analysis and Design of Business Systems, Advanced Data Analytics Topics, and Project Management, develops a strong foundation in managing information systems, designing business solutions, and leading technology-driven projects. In addition, students complete six credits of electives, which allow for customization of the program to align with individual career goals or emerging industry trends. Full-time students are required to participate in an internship or cooperative experience during their first year, offering practical, hands-on exposure to real-world business challenges and professional development. This program is structured to prepare graduates for leadership roles in business analytics, IT management, consulting, and data-driven decision-making across a variety of industries, combining analytical proficiency with strategic insight to solve complex organizational problems and drive innovation.
