COURSE CURRICULUM

The International Business (INTB) course offerings provide students with a comprehensive foundation and practical experience in global commerce, emphasizing cultural awareness, economic diversity, and strategic business practices. INTB 205 introduces students to international business, focusing on understanding global diversity, cultural differences, and current international events while fostering critical thinking and appreciation of multiple perspectives. INTB 220 and INTB 406 provide experiential learning through faculty-led travel and approved study abroad programs, allowing students to observe and engage with global business practices and local cultures firsthand. INTB 421 and INTB 422 build on these experiences, exploring foreign market entry strategies and analyzing the cultural, administrative, geographic, and economic differences between home and host countries that influence international business success. INTB 492 offers internship opportunities for on-the-job experience, integrating fieldwork with reflective assignments under faculty supervision. INTB 496 allows students to study specialized topics and current international business issues, while INTB 498 serves as an alternative to study abroad, emphasizing hands-on, problem-centered learning that develops civically engaged and adaptable global leaders.
