COURSE CURRICULUM

The Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) in Business Administration integrates a comprehensive general education foundation with specialized business coursework to prepare students for successful careers in the dynamic business environment. General Education requirements total 36 credit hours, including academic foundations in mathematics, statistics, logic, writing, and speaking; breadth of knowledge in arts, humanities, natural sciences, and social sciences; diversity courses covering domestic and global perspectives; and integrated and applied learning through complex issues or capstone experiences. Additional business requirements, totaling 13 credit hours, include mathematics and statistics, business communications, and professional development courses designed to develop critical thinking, quantitative reasoning, and effective communication skills. The College of Business Core, consisting of 36 credit hours, covers essential business disciplines such as accounting, finance, management, marketing, economics, business law, supply chain management, international business, and strategic management, ensuring students gain a strong understanding of fundamental business operations and decision-making processes. The Business Administration requirements, totaling 45 credit hours, allow students to specialize through upper-level coursework in accounting, finance, management, marketing, and business systems, alongside an internship, entrepreneurship, or professional selling experience, and an approved business minor. Together, this curriculum equips students with the analytical, leadership, and practical skills necessary to navigate complex business challenges, adapt to evolving industries, and pursue advanced studies or professional opportunities in diverse business fields.
