COURSE CURRICULUM

The Bachelor of Arts (BA) in History provides students with a comprehensive understanding of the past while developing essential skills that are valuable across many careers. The program encourages students to explore historical events, cultures, and ideas, helping them understand how past developments have shaped the modern world. Through this study, students build strong abilities in research, critical analysis, writing, and presentation, all of which are highly transferable to a wide range of professional fields.The major requires the completion of 11 courses, or 33 credit hours, specifically in history, allowing students to gain depth in their chosen field of study. These courses typically cover various time periods, regions, and themes, giving students a broad and well-rounded perspective on global history. In addition to major requirements, students complete general education courses and electives as part of the overall curriculum.To graduate, students must complete a total of 120 credit hours. This structure ensures a balanced education that combines specialized historical knowledge with broader academic skills.
