COURSE CURRICULUM

The Master of Social Work (M.S.W.) program in Advanced Practice Leadership is designed to prepare students for advanced professional roles in social work practice and administration across diverse settings. The program focuses on developing strong clinical, leadership, and policy skills to serve individuals, families, and communities throughout the lifespan. It is offered in multiple formats to accommodate different student needs, including on-campus and online options, as well as pathways for both advanced standing and regular standing students.Students who hold a Bachelor of Social Work (B.S.W.) from a CSWE-accredited program may enter through the advanced standing track, while those without a B.S.W. complete the regular standing track, which includes foundational and advanced coursework. Both pathways emphasize evidence-based practice, ethical decision-making, and leadership in social work settings.The program is structured to provide flexibility through four main options: on-campus advanced standing, on-campus regular standing, online advanced standing, and online regular standing. The online format allows for both full-time and part-time study, while the on-campus program is typically full-time. Across all options, students gain practical experience through supervised field internships in agency settings. Overall, the program prepares graduates for licensure and careers in clinical social work, community services, healthcare, and social welfare leadership roles.
