COURSE CURRICULUM

The Master of Health Administration program is designed to support career growth for individuals at different stages within the healthcare field. The traditional program, offered in a hybrid format, is ideal for students who are entering or are in the early stages of their healthcare careers, while the executive program is fully online and tailored for experienced professionals with at least five years in the industry, focusing on developing middle to senior-level management skills. The curriculum emphasizes a comprehensive understanding of healthcare systems by covering key areas such as health and disease, as well as the sociological, economic, legal, and political factors that influence healthcare delivery.The program requires 40 to 42 credit hours and includes core coursework along with the option of completing either a field experience or a thesis, depending on the chosen format. The executive track follows an accelerated asynchronous online format, allowing working professionals to study flexibly. Students gain expertise in essential management areas including financial management, human resource management, strategic management and marketing, information systems, quality improvement, and quantitative analysis.
