COURSE CURRICULUM

The Master of Education in Management of Technical Education program requires a total of 36 credit hours and is structured to build strong foundations in leadership, research, and instructional management. The program begins with foundation courses such as interdisciplinary studies in workforce and leadership and an overview of interdisciplinary research, which help students develop a broad understanding of education, training, and organizational systems. These courses establish the base for advanced learning in both leadership and instructional practices.Students then complete Level I coursework by selecting 9 credit hours from leadership-focused subjects, including areas like personal leadership development, organizational management, professional development, supervision of instruction, curriculum design, and campus leadership. These courses are designed to enhance leadership vision, decision-making, and management skills in educational and training environments.In Level II, students complete 21 credit hours from specialized courses that focus on teaching, training, and workplace performance. These include topics such as teaching technology, instructional materials development, human relations, effective training methods, work-based learning, career education, and workplace performance. The curriculum emphasizes practical application, preparing students to manage instructional programs and improve workforce training systems.
