Industrial Engineers (IEs) are trained to work across multiple disciplines, so the Industrial Engineering Bachelor of Science program at Texas State University is built around a broad, interdisciplinary curriculum that combines engineering fundamentals with analytical, technical, and communication skills. Over four years, students study subjects from the social sciences, humanities, and English to strengthen writing, communication, and critical thinking abilities, which are essential for working in team-based and industry environments.
