COURSE CURRICULUM

The Bachelor of Arts in Religious Studies at Texas State University follows a structured four-year plan totaling 120 credit hours, combining general education, language study, major coursework, electives, and a required minor. In the freshman year, students begin with foundational courses in communication, government, and modern language while taking introductory religious studies courses such as REL 1300 and REL 2330.
