COURSE CURRICULUM

The Bachelor of Arts in Anthropology program at Texas State University is a 120-credit-hour degree structured over four years, combining general education, language study, and specialized anthropology training. In the freshman year, students complete core subjects such as communication, government, history, and introductory anthropology courses, along with beginning modern language studies. The sophomore year builds on this foundation with mathematics, science, creative arts, and intermediate anthropology courses, while continuing modern language progression to the 2000 level.
