COURSE CURRICULUM

To apply for graduate programs at Syracuse University, applicants must complete a series of required steps to ensure a thorough evaluation of their academic background and readiness. First, candidates must submit the Graduate Program Application through the official online portal, after which they will receive a confirmation email. A non-refundable application fee of $75 is required for each program, although eligible Post-9/11 veterans may request a fee waiver by contacting the Veterans Resource Center.Applicants are required to submit transcripts from all postsecondary institutions they have attended. While unofficial transcripts are acceptable for the initial review, official transcripts confirming a completed U.S. bachelor’s degree or its equivalent must be provided upon admission, and failure to do so may result in revocation. A personal statement of approximately 500 words is also required, where applicants describe their academic interests, relevant experiences, reasons for selecting the program and university, and their future goals. This document must be uploaded through the application portal.In addition, applicants must provide two letters of recommendation from individuals who can assess their qualifications and potential for graduate study. These letters are typically submitted electronically through the OnBase system, though mailed submissions are accepted if necessary. Standardized test scores such as GRE, GMAT, or LSAT are optional but can be included to strengthen the application. Finally, applicants must submit a current resume or curriculum vitae outlining their academic background, skills, and relevant experience.Together, these components ensure a comprehensive application process that allows the admissions committee to evaluate each candidate’s qualifications, experiences, and potential for success in their chosen graduate program.
