Students also gain hands-on expertise in digital investigations through CYB 570, Computer Forensics Investigation and Response, and CYB 575, Practical Applications of Computer Forensics.To apply their knowledge in real-world settings, students complete a six-credit field practicum, choosing between CYB 505, Professional Capstone, or CYB 506, Internship for non-professionals, allowing them to develop practical experience in cybercrime prevention, forensic investigation, or security analysis. Graduates are prepared for careers in law enforcement technology, digital forensic investigation, ethical hacking, cybersecurity analysis, and anti-money laundering operations. By combining rigorous technical training, legal and ethical understanding, and applied practice, the Brooklyn M.S. in Cybersecurity equips students to respond effectively to complex cyber threats, safeguard information systems, and take on leadership roles in a rapidly expanding and high-demand field.
