COURSE CURRICULUM

The Nursing program requires a comprehensive set of clinical, theoretical, and support courses designed to prepare students for professional practice in diverse healthcare settings. The curriculum includes a wide range of clinical courses where students gain hands-on experience in areas such as fundamentals of nursing, health assessment, adult health, maternal-newborn care, mental health, pediatrics, elderly care, community health, and critical care. These clinical experiences allow students to apply classroom knowledge in real-world environments and develop essential patient care skills. Alongside clinical training, students complete core nursing courses that cover key topics such as nursing concepts, pharmacology, pathophysiology, nursing research, and transitions into professional practice. Advanced courses in adult health, pediatric nursing, and community health further strengthen clinical knowledge, while a dedicated NCLEX preparation course in the final stage ensures readiness for licensure.In addition to nursing-specific courses, students must complete required support courses, with a minimum grade of C in each, to build a strong scientific and analytical foundation. These include anatomy and physiology, microbiology, and basic chemistry, which are essential for understanding the human body and disease processes. Courses in nutrition, statistics, and psychological development help students develop a holistic understanding of patient care, while studies in the American healthcare system provide insight into healthcare delivery and policy. This combination of rigorous academic coursework, extensive clinical practice, and foundational support subjects ensures that graduates are well-prepared to provide safe, effective, and evidence-based care as professional nurses.
