COURSE CURRICULUM

The International Business program is designed to prepare students for global managerial careers by combining a strong foundation in core business principles with specialized international, analytical, and cultural studies. The Business Administration Core (30 hours) builds essential knowledge in accounting, finance, management, marketing, business law, information systems, and strategic planning, ensuring students understand how organizations operate in both domestic and global markets. Students also select an international-focused course such as international finance, global logistics, international marketing, or international economics to strengthen their understanding of global business environments.The Support Courses (27 hours) develop communication, analytical, and economic reasoning skills through subjects such as business communication, professionalism, microeconomics, macroeconomics, rhetoric and critical thinking, statistics or related research methods, and mathematics. These courses ensure students are well-prepared for advanced business study and professional decision-making in complex environments.The International Business major component further deepens global expertise through courses like applied ethical leadership and additional study in international business topics, economics, finance, management, or marketing. Students also complete coursework in analytics, research, forecasting, operations, entrepreneurship, talent management, and project management, which builds strong data-driven and strategic decision-making skills. Additional electives allow specialization in areas such as accounting analytics, healthcare informatics, supply chain management, financial modeling, or marketing communication.A key requirement is a minor or second major within the business college, along with cultural and foreign language requirements and study abroad or international immersion experience, ensuring students gain real global exposure.Overall, the program integrates business fundamentals, international specialization, analytical training, and cultural experience to prepare graduates for careers in multinational corporations, global finance, international marketing, logistics, consulting, and entrepreneurial ventures in the global economy.
