COURSE CURRICULUM

The Biomedical Sciences program at Southeast Missouri State University provides a rigorous, science-focused curriculum designed to prepare students for medical school, other professional health programs, or research careers. The Biomedical Sciences option then adds specialized biological training, requiring courses like General Microbiology or Zoology, along with Vertebrate Physiology. Students further deepen their expertise by choosing advanced electives such as Medical Genetics, Cell Biology, Molecular Genetics, Immunology, Pathogenic Microbiology, or Comparative Anatomy.
