COURSE CURRICULUM

The Master of Science in Artificial Intelligence at Rochester Institute of Technology features a flexible 30-credit curriculum that balances core AI knowledge, technical skills, and specialization. In the first year, students build a strong foundation through essential courses such as Fundamentals of Artificial Intelligence, Mathematical Methods for Artificial Intelligence, and Ethics of Artificial Intelligence, which together develop both technical understanding and awareness of AI’s societal impact. In the spring semester, the focus shifts to more advanced topics like machine learning and research methods, along with an elective that allows students to begin tailoring their expertise.
