COURSE CURRICULUM

The MFA in Ceramics curriculum at Rochester Institute of Technology is a 60-credit, two-year graduate program that combines intensive studio practice, research, and professional development to prepare students for advanced careers in ceramics and contemporary art. In the first year, students build a strong foundation through core studio courses such as Ceramic Practice I and Ceramic Processes I, alongside classes like Technology in the Studio and Ideation and Series, which emphasize both technical skill development and conceptual growth.
