COURSE CURRICULUM

The MBA in Management concentration at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute’s Lally School of Management offers a flexible, generalist approach, allowing students to tailor their education to individual career goals and interests. Designed for those seeking a broad-based business education, this concentration provides the opportunity to select electives from the full range of MGMT 6xxx and 7xxx courses, enabling students to develop expertise across leadership, strategy, finance, marketing, operations, and technology management. The MBA Director retains the authority to approve additional courses outside this list, ensuring that students can align their studies with personal and professional objectives. All students in the Management concentration complete a common core of nine 3-credit courses, which establish a strong foundation in essential business principles, analytical tools, and management practices.
