COURSE CURRICULUM

The Master of Business Administration (MBA) with a Multidisciplinary concentration is a 39-credit program designed to provide a comprehensive foundation in business while allowing students to tailor their studies to their career goals. The program begins with a 3-credit foundation course, BUS 502 – Foundations in Business, which introduces essential business principles. The 21-credit core curriculum includes BUS 503 – Individual Performance and Leading Change, BUS 509 – Descriptive Analytics and Decisions, BUS 515 – Organizational Dynamics and Effectiveness, BUS 522 – Corporate Finance for Managers, BUS 524 – Strategic Marketing, BUS 528 – Strategy, Operations and Execution, and BUS 530 – Project Management, providing broad managerial, analytical, and strategic skills. The 12-credit Multidisciplinary concentration allows students to select four approved courses from a range of disciplines, including ACC 500-level, BUS 600-level, EGM 500-level, PAD 600-level, or PMG 600-level courses, enabling a personalized approach to learning aligned with individual career objectives. Students may substitute one concentration course with BUS 697 – Internship, with academic department approval, to gain practical experience. The program concludes with the 3-credit capstone course, BUS 695 – Capstone Experience, where students integrate and apply their knowledge to real-world business challenges, preparing graduates to create organizational value through a multidisciplinary perspective.
