COURSE CURRICULUM

The Master of Business Administration (MBA) with a concentration in Leadership is a 39-credit program designed to develop advanced business acumen and leadership capabilities. It begins with a 3-credit foundation course, BUS 502 – Foundations in Business, establishing essential knowledge in business principles. The 21-credit core curriculum includes BUS 503 – Individual Performance and Leading Change, BUS 509 – Descriptive Analytics and Decisions, BUS 515 – Organizational Dynamics and Effectiveness, BUS 522 – Corporate Finance for Managers, BUS 524 – Strategic Marketing, BUS 528 – Strategy, Operations and Execution, and BUS 530 – Project Management, providing students with critical managerial, analytical, and strategic skills. The Leadership concentration requires 12 credits, focusing on developing transformational leaders through courses such as BUS 660 – Leadership and Change Management, BUS 669 – Innovating Leadership and Management, BUS 690 – Developing Leadership Effectiveness, and BUS 640 – Emerging Topics in Business. Students may substitute one concentration course with BUS 697 – Internship, pending approval, to gain practical experience.
