COURSE CURRICULUM

The Master of Business Administration (MBA) with a Concentration in Finance requires a total of 39 credits, including a 3-credit foundation course, 21 credits of core courses, 12 credits in the Finance concentration, and a 3-credit capstone experience. The foundation course, BUS 502 – Foundations in Business, provides essential business knowledge, while the core courses cover key managerial competencies including leadership and change management (BUS 503), analytics and decision-making (BUS 509), organizational dynamics (BUS 515), corporate finance (BUS 522), strategic marketing (BUS 524), strategy and operations (BUS 528), and project management (BUS 530). The Finance concentration equips students with specialized skills in advanced financial statement analysis (BUS 632), investment management and analysis (BUS 633), organizational risk management (BUS 635), and emerging business topics (BUS 640). Students may substitute one concentration course with BUS 697 – Internship, with approval from the Academic Department. The program concludes with BUS 695 – Capstone Experience, allowing students to apply their knowledge to real-world financial and organizational challenges. This MBA integrates foundational business knowledge, core managerial skills, and advanced financial expertise, preparing graduates to lead financial decision-making, manage investment portfolios, assess organizational risk, and drive strategic financial performance in dynamic business environments.
