COURSE CURRICULUM

The Associate of Science in Management program at Post University is a 60-credit degree designed to provide students with a strong foundation in business management and prepare them for entry-level managerial roles or further academic study. The program includes 27 general education credits, emphasizing communication, critical thinking, digital literacy, mathematics, and liberal arts. Courses such as College Writing, Literature and Composition, Introduction to Communication, Digital Skills for College and Career, College Algebra, and Business Law I develop essential skills for professional and academic success, while electives allow students to explore additional areas of interest. The 30-credit major core provides in-depth study of business principles, beginning with an 18-credit business core that includes Accounting Essentials, Baldrige Principles and Introduction to Quality Standards, Macroeconomics, Principles of Finance, Principles of Management, and Principles of Marketing. The 12-credit major core further develops leadership and entrepreneurial skills through Managerial Accounting, Foundations of Leadership, Entrepreneurship, Creativity and Innovation, and a 200-level business elective. Additionally, the College Success Seminar equips students with professional and career readiness skills. By integrating practical business knowledge, leadership development, and analytical skills, the program prepares graduates to contribute effectively to organizations, navigate complex business environments, and pursue career growth or advanced studies in management and related fields.
