COURSE CURRICULUM

The Master of Science in Applied Behavior Analysis (MSABA) curriculum is structured as a four-term sequence that progressively builds students’ knowledge and clinical competencies in applied behavior analysis. In Semester I, students establish a strong theoretical and analytical foundation through courses in Experimental Analysis of Behavior and Measurement, Data Analysis, and Experimental Design for ABA, which introduce core behavioral principles and research methods. Semester II moves into applied learning with courses in Principles and Applications of ABA and Ethical and Professional Conduct, alongside the beginning of the Practicum in ABA, where students start gaining supervised hands-on experience in clinical settings.In Semester III, the program intensifies both academically and clinically. Students take advanced courses such as Behavioral Assessment and Intervention I and II, along with Supervision, Management, and Consultation in ABA, while continuing their practicum experience. This phase emphasizes assessment techniques, intervention strategies, and leadership skills required for professional practice. Semester IV focuses on deeper theoretical understanding through Radical Behaviorism while continuing the practicum, ensuring students integrate theory with real-world application.Throughout the program, the practicum plays a central role, spanning multiple terms and allowing students to accumulate supervised experience hours while working with clients under professional guidance. Core courses cover essential areas such as ethics, data analysis, behavioral principles, assessment, and intervention, ensuring alignment with professional standards in the field. Overall, the curriculum combines rigorous academic instruction with continuous clinical training, preparing students with the knowledge, skills, and practical experience necessary to pursue certification and careers as behavior analysts.
