COURSE CURRICULUM

The Master of Science in Global Business (MSGB) at Pepperdine Graziadio Business School is a 41-unit program designed to combine strong business fundamentals with immersive global experiences and applied learning. The curriculum builds a solid foundation through core courses covering financial accounting, corporate finance, marketing, global strategy, macroeconomics, quantitative analysis, and organizational leadership. These subjects equip students with the analytical, strategic, and managerial skills needed to operate effectively in international business environments.A defining feature of the program is its emphasis on global learning and real-world application. Students participate in the Global Business Intensive (GBI), an international immersion experience that provides firsthand exposure to global markets and business practices. Additional experiential components include study abroad or exchange programs, internship opportunities, and the SEER (Social, Environmental, and Ethical Responsibility) Strategy Capstone, where students apply their knowledge to address real-world global business challenges with a focus on sustainability and ethical decision-making.The program structure offers flexibility through two entry options: Fall Start and Spring Start. In the Fall Start pathway, students begin with core courses, progress to a mix of core and electives, complete the GBI, then undertake an internship followed by an international exchange or additional electives. In the Spring Start pathway, students follow a similar sequence but complete their exchange term before their internship. This flexible structure ensures that students gain both academic knowledge and practical global experience. Overall, the MSGB program prepares graduates to navigate complex international markets and lead responsibly in a globalized business landscape.
