The Master of Science in Global Business (MSGB) program at Pepperdine Graziadio Business School follows a structured trimester-based schedule that provides flexibility while ensuring comprehensive coverage of core business concepts and global experiences Students who begin in the fall trimester start with core courses in Trimester 1, establishing a solid foundation in business management and international marketing During Trimester 2, students continue with core courses alongside selected electives to tailor their learning to specific career goals Between Trimesters 2 and 3, all students participate in the Global Business Intensive course, which integrates sustainability, strategic thinking, and global business practices through immersive, practical experiences Trimester 3 is dedicated to a professional internship, providing hands-on application of classroom knowledge in a real-world global business setting, followed by Trimester 4, which can be either an additional internship or an exchange term abroad, allowing students to deepen international exposure and cross-cultural understanding Students beginning in the spring trimester follow a similar sequence Trimester 1 focuses on core courses, Trimester 2 combines core courses with electives, and the Global Business Intensive course occurs between Trimesters 2 and 3 Trimester 3 for spring starters involves either an exchange term abroad or additional elective courses in Malibu, giving students the opportunity to gain international experience or expand their expertise in specialized business areas This program structure ensures that graduates leave with both strong analytical and strategic skills, practical international experience, and the adaptability required to lead in complex global business environments.
