Workforce Planning and Staffing focuses on aligning talent strategies with business goals, covering recruitment, performance management, engagement, and succession planning. In Strategic Compensation and Benefits, students examine how compensation strategies can serve as a competitive advantage, with emphasis on executive compensation, incentives, and labor union considerations.The program also emphasizes the growing role of data through HR Analytics and Technology Strategies, teaching students how to use data and HR information systems to make evidence-based decisions. HR in the Virtual Workplace explores the implications of remote work on communication, culture, legal compliance, and work-life balance. The Workplace Health and Safety course addresses both mental and physical wellness, emphasizing a culture of safety.Training and Talent Development highlights strategic approaches to employee growth, onboarding, diversity, and career planning. Global Human Resources prepares students to navigate international HR challenges, promoting inclusive practices and understanding of global labor dynamics. Employment Law and Ethics provides the legal foundation for HR practice and encourages ethical decision-making.The program culminates with the Applied Human Resources Capstone, an independent project where students apply their learning to address a real-world HR challenge within their organization.
