COURSE CURRICULUM

The Master of Science in Education with a concentration in Teaching Secondary Agricultural Education at Northwest Missouri State University requires a total of 30 credit hours. Students complete core courses through the School of Professional Education, including Data Literacy and Assessment for Schools, Multicultural Education for Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion, Issues in Education, and Practicum for a Guaranteed and Viable Curriculum, each worth three credit hours. In addition, students fulfill 12 credit hours of advisor-approved electives within the School of Agricultural Sciences, allowing them to deepen their expertise in agricultural content relevant to secondary education. To provide flexibility and broader academic enrichment, students also select six credit hours of unspecified graduate electives, which may come from any school at Northwest, provided at least 15 of the total semester hours are at the 600 level.
