COURSE CURRICULUM

Northwest Missouri State University’s Economics-GIS program requires students to complete foundational courses with a grade of C or better to build essential skills in economics, statistics, and business. Key required courses include General Statistics (MATH 17114) to develop quantitative and analytical skills, Principles of Macroeconomics (ECON 52150) and Principles of Microeconomics (ECON 52151) for understanding economic systems and decision-making, and Accounting I (ACCT 51201) to provide a foundation in financial recordkeeping and analysis.Students must also complete either Principles of Management (MGMT 54313) or Principles of Marketing (MKTG 55330) to gain knowledge of business operations, organizational strategy, and market-driven decision-making.
