COURSE CURRICULUM

The Master of Science in Organizational Leadership program requires 30 semester hours for completion and provides students with a comprehensive foundation in leadership, organizational behavior, ethics, and applied management skills. The curriculum integrates core principles of leadership and psychology, starting with courses such as Leadership and Organizational Behavior and Psychology of Organizational Leadership, which equip students with the ability to understand team dynamics, individual motivation, and effective leadership strategies. Ethics in the Workplace emphasizes responsible decision-making and moral reasoning in professional environments, while Entrepreneurship, Creativity, and Innovation fosters the skills needed to drive organizational growth and adapt to changing business landscapes. The program further develops organizational insight through courses like Culture of Learning Organizations, Organizational Effectiveness and Development, and Diversity and Inclusion in the Organizational Culture, ensuring graduates can foster inclusive, high-performing work environments. Leadership of Public/Nonprofit Organizations prepares students to lead effectively in government and nonprofit sectors, while Critical Thinking and Research Skills strengthens analytical and evidence-based decision-making abilities. The Capstone in Industrial and Organizational Psychology allows students to synthesize learning from across the program in a practical, applied project, demonstrating mastery of concepts and readiness to lead diverse organizations. The program may also accept Credit for Prior Learning for select courses, providing flexibility for experienced professionals.
