COURSE CURRICULUM

The Bachelor of Science in Business Administration program offers a comprehensive and flexible curriculum designed to prepare students for diverse careers in the business world. The program begins with a Technical and Analytical Foundation of 21–22 credits, including courses in financial and managerial accounting, microeconomics and macroeconomics, data modeling or management information systems, calculus, and statistics. These courses develop essential quantitative, analytical, and decision-making skills required for business studies.The Business Core, consisting of 21 credits, provides broad exposure to key functional areas of business such as management, marketing, finance, operations, business law, and the social and ethical environment of organizations. Courses like Introduction to Business, Organizational Behavior, Financial Management, Marketing Principles, and Operations Management ensure that students gain a well-rounded understanding of how organizations operate.Students then select a concentration (12 credits) to develop specialized expertise in areas such as Finance, International Business, Marketing, Management, or Entrepreneurship. Each concentration includes a set of required courses along with elective options, allowing students to tailor their studies based on their interests and career goals. There is also an option to design a customized concentration with faculty approval. Additionally, optional tracks within certain concentrations, such as Human Resource Management or Leadership, allow for even deeper specialization.The program concludes with a 3-credit integrative capping course, which focuses on strategic decision-making and applying business knowledge in real-world scenarios. Overall, students complete 60–61 credits in the major, along with 37 credits in Core/Liberal Studies and additional electives. This balanced structure ensures graduates are equipped with both broad business knowledge and specialized skills, preparing them for a wide range of professional opportunities.
