COURSE CURRICULUM

The Bachelor of Science in Technological Humanities curriculum is a four-year interdisciplinary program that blends humanities, social sciences, and technology to develop both analytical and technical skills. In the first year, students build a strong foundation with courses such as College Composition, Engaging Ancient and Modern Texts, Natural Sciences with lab work, and mathematics. They are also introduced to the relationship between technology and society through Introduction to Humanity and Technology, along with foundational courses in psychology and computer science. This combination helps students develop communication skills, scientific awareness, and basic technical knowledge. In the second year, the program deepens both technical and analytical abilities with courses such as Computer Science I, Statistics, Research Methods, and Principles of Economics. Students also study Technical and Professional Communication and topics in psychology, which strengthen their ability to analyze human behavior and communicate effectively in professional settings.In the third year, the curriculum becomes more specialized and flexible, allowing students to explore their interests through electives in communication, media, language, and social sciences. Courses such as Ethics of Computing or Global Ethics of Policy help students understand the ethical implications of technology, while subjects like Literary Criticism, Cultural Studies, and Literature and Science provide deeper insight into the relationship between technology and human culture. Technology application electives and activities like Coding Club further enhance practical technical skills. In the fourth year, students focus on advanced topics such as History of Technology and social science seminars, while continuing to customize their learning through electives. The program culminates in a Senior Thesis or internship, where students apply their interdisciplinary knowledge to real-world problems or research projects. Overall, the curriculum combines humanities insight with technical expertise, preparing graduates for diverse careers in technology, communication, research, and policy-making.
