COURSE CURRICULUM
The Bachelor of Science in Robotics Engineering curriculum is a comprehensive four-year program designed to integrate mechanical, electrical, and computer engineering principles while building strong analytical and practical skills. In the first year, students establish a solid foundation with courses such as Calculus I and II, Computer Science I and II, College Composition, and humanities subjects, along with introductory engineering design and early exposure to robotics through Foundations of Robotics Engineering. They also study University Physics with lab work, which helps them understand the physical principles behind robotic systems. In the second year, the program becomes more technical, with courses such as Statics, Dynamics, Circuits and Electronics, and Calculus III. Students also study Differential Equations and Linear Algebra, which are essential for understanding complex robotic systems, while courses in communication and leadership help build professional skills.In the third year, the curriculum focuses on core robotics concepts and system integration. Students progress through Unified Robotics I, II, and III, where they learn how to design, program, and control robotic systems. They also study Digital Electronics, Microprocessors, Measurement Systems, Mechanics of Materials, and System Modeling and Control, gaining a deeper understanding of both hardware and software aspects of robotics. Probability and Statistics and Discrete Mathematics further strengthen analytical thinking. In the fourth year, students work on advanced topics such as Industrial Robotics, Embedded Systems, and Discrete Control, while continuing with Unified Robotics IV. A major highlight is the two-part Capstone Project, where students apply their knowledge to real-world engineering challenges. Technical electives allow students to specialize in areas of interest. Overall, the curriculum combines theory, hands-on learning, and interdisciplinary knowledge, preparing graduates for careers in robotics, automation, artificial intelligence, and advanced engineering systems.
