COURSE CURRICULUM

The Bachelor of Science in Mechanical and Manufacturing Engineering Technology curriculum is structured over four years to provide students with a balanced mix of theoretical knowledge, technical skills, and practical industry experience. Students study Manufacturing Engineering Processes, Engineering Mechanics, and Technical Project Management, along with Six Sigma I and II, which highlight quality control and process improvement techniques widely used in industry. Courses such as Applied Thermal-Fluids and Applied Calculus with Differential Equations further strengthen problem-solving abilities in real-world engineering contexts. In the fourth year, students engage in advanced and specialized subjects including Engineering Design and Standards, Engineering Economic Analysis, Operations Management, Engineering Materials, and Embedded Processors. The final semester focuses heavily on practical implementation through courses like Computer Design Graphics, Lean Manufacturing, and Transducers and Instrumentation. A major highlight of the program is the Senior Project, where students apply their accumulated knowledge to solve real engineering problems, often simulating real industry scenarios. Overall, the curriculum is designed to progressively develop technical expertise, analytical thinking, and hands-on experience, preparing graduates for successful careers in mechanical and manufacturing engineering industries.
